Premium Quality Handwoven Colourful Striped Table Runner from Chin State

This wonderful and cheerful, blue, red and dark green stripe table runner is carefully hand woven. Made in the north western Chin State in Myanmar, these table runners are made from pure cotton and are coloured using natural vegetable dyes.

Traditionally weaving was practised by older women in Chin State, however in recent years young women have been trained in the craft, allowing them to revive a cultural handicraft and gain reliable income.
