Glossy finish black lacquer tea set, made entirely by hand. Structured from a bamboo interior then painted with layers of lacquer which is sanded down and dried over 8 months.
Made by Mr Tin Aye and his family in Mandalay Region.
The tea set consists of one teapot, four cups, one sugar pot and one serving tray.
The tray is: 33cm in diameter.
The teapot is: 14cm high, 13cm at widest point, 20cm handle to spout.
The sugar pot is: 9cm high x 7cm at it’s widest point.
The cups are: 9cm in diameter, 5cm high.
